This site has no advertising or analytics tracking. This page explains what information is processed when you visit it, why, and how to exercise your rights.
Data controller
This site is published by Samidax, a technology consulting and engineering firm based in Dakar, Senegal. For any question about your personal data, email us at contact@samidax.com.
Data collected
You can browse the entire site without creating an account or providing any personal information. The site itself collects no personal data: it contains no audience measurement tool, no advertising pixel and no social media plugin.
The contact form
When you submit the form, your name, email address, organization, need and message are sent to us by email at contact@samidax.com, through our host Cloudflare. They are not stored on the site. We use the information it contains only to reply and follow up on your request, and keep it for no more than three years after our last exchange.
Cookies we use
The site sets a single cookie, samidax_consent, which remembers your choice in the consent banner (accepted or refused). It is strictly necessary, contains no personal data and expires after six months. No advertising, analytics or social media cookies are set.
Your consent
If an audience measurement tool is ever added, it will only be enabled after you click “Accept” in the banner. Refusing has no effect on your access to the site. To change your choice, delete the samidax_consent cookie in your browser settings: the banner will appear again on your next visit.
External resources
Fonts, illustrations and scripts are served from our own domain. The site loads nothing from Google Fonts, third-party CDNs or video platforms, so your browsing is not shared with any third party.
Server logs
Like any website, our host may record technical logs (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type) needed for security and proper operation of the service. These logs are kept for a limited time and are not used for profiling.
Sharing and transfers
Samidax does not sell, rent or transfer any personal data. Information you send us is only shared with the people at Samidax who handle your request.
Security
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Information you send us is accessible only to the people who need it to reply to you.
Your rights
Under Senegalese Law No. 2008-12 of January 25, 2008 on the protection of personal data and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port your data. To exercise these rights, email us at contact@samidax.com; we reply within one month.
Complaints
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may contact Senegal’s Personal Data Protection Commission (CDP) or the data protection authority in your country of residence, such as the CNIL in France.
